Covenant Capital’s Founder, Annette Hemmert, started her career in corporate America in 2012 working for a short time in the financial services industry and then as a top sales manager for a Fortune 500 pharmaceutical company. She always had the desire to build wealth and leave a legacy. To do this, the common advice given to her was to invest in her 401K (get that match, baby!), open IRAs, start a 529 Savings Plan for your children, etc. EVERYTHING was tied to the stock market. She became frustrated with her lack of control over her retirement accounts - corrections, crashes, politics, pandemics, inflation, controversial tweets! - all seemed to affect the balance in her accounts. She needed a better alternative if she was going to realize the level of wealth that she desired for her family.
Real estate has provided generations of investors with wealth. However, it has historically been reserved for those with specialized knowledge, the right connections and access to great amounts of capital.
